ABOUT EPATENTS

ePatents is an Online Internet Service system initiated by the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS).  It is developed and maintained by CSE Global Ltd.

The main objectives of ePatents are as follows:

• To provide one-stop information services infrastructure to deliver published patent information to the public via Internet.
• To provide electronic payment facilities over the Internet for the services provided.

Currently, ePatents provides two major services:

• Online Submission
• Patent Search
• Downloading of patent register and specification (where available)

All these information services are provided via Internet as well as at public counters located at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS). There are two payment methods implemented, either via eNETS Credit Card or through GIRO arrangement.

Other means of requesting information

As the Netrust Digital Certificate can only be obtained locally, we understand this might pose some difficulty for Internet users accessing our services from outside of Singapore. However, you may still send your requests to ipos_epatents@ipos.gov.sg.

Kindly note that in the event that the information you have requested has to be posted to you, the relevant postage charges will be included in the total cost of the request.
