How to file a PF37 or PF39 on paper and a PF41 electronically

If you intend to file a PF41 as part of your filing requirements under the Patents Rules after filing a PF37 or PF39 on paper, please note that you will currently not be able to file a PF41 electronically at the same time with a PF37/PF39 on paper. The Registrar will be treating this as a procedural irregularity under rule 100 of the Patents Rules, to be rectified accordingly. Having filed a PF37/PF39 on paper, please wait for an application number to be sent to you in writing. On receipt of the notification of the application number,please proceed to file a PF41 using the electronic online system, within one (1) month from the date of the notification from the Registry.
