Patents' Practice Direction No. 2 of 2008 - Electronic Online Service

Practice Direction No. 2 of 2008 (Electronic Online Service) contains an updated version of the practice to be adopted when using the Electronic Online System (EOS) provided by the Registry of Patents, Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS). It shall come into effect on 2 June 2008 and replace Practice Direction No. 1 of 2007 (Electronic Online Service) from that date.

Main changes are made to the First Schedule (page 21 & 22) as follows:

1) Change in name of document that may be filed with Patents Form 14 & Patents Form 14(2004)
2) New document type for Patents Form 23-Evidence for alteration of applicant/inventor's name
3) Change in name of document that may be filed with Patents Form 57
4) Patents Form 99 and its accompanying document types to be made available for filing via EOS

Other changes (minor) are:

5) Update of Netrust office's address (page 7)
6) Removal of reference to Cashcard payment & commencement date of Credit card payment (page 4, 5 & 8)
