Update to Patents Form 45A (2004) with effect from 1 August 2006

Please be informed that the following will come into force with effect from 1 August 2006:
For an international application for a patent (Singapore) with a date of filing on or after 1 July 2004 that has entered the national phase in Singapore under section 86(3), the prescribed fee payable for a Patents Form 45A (2004) is nil. Where the application is NOT an international application for a patent (Singapore) that has entered the national phase in Singapore under section 86(3), the prescribed fee for a Patents Form 45A (2004) is $1800.00.
The updated Patents Form 45A (2004) is available for filing via ePatents at http://www.epatents.gov.sg from 1 August 2006 onwards.
