Patent specification search will allow you to search on the patent specification database(s). It allows you to perform free text search on the specification data. The partial match is supported in this search. The scope of the search is dependent on data availability ie. the conversion of specifications to text format (see data availability update).
There are two ways to refine your search query. In the end of the results list, you can select to refine search ie. search within the current results list. If you select the "search within results" option the search will be performed within the current results list. You are limited to one input value in your refine search. Alternatively, you can narrow your search scope by entering the boolean operator(s) in your initial query string. There are three boolean operators you can use: AND, AND NOT, and OR. For example your query string can be: data AND manager, then it will return you the patent specification which contain the words data and manager.
